HCC Pittsburgh recently completed a 2500 SQFT brushed concrete driveway in Upper St. Clair, providing a durable, slip-resistant, and low-maintenance solution that enhances both curb appeal and functionality.
In this project, we undertook a significant excavation effort, removing 250 tons of dirt to prepare the site for a large-scale, dependable Redi-Rock retaining wall. This wall was strategically installed to provide both structural stability and long-term durability. With the groundwork complete, we moved forward with one of the largest exposed aggregate concrete driveways in the Squirrel Hill area. The exposed aggregate surface not only enhances the driveway's aesthetic appeal but also offers superior traction and durability, making it both functional and visually striking. This project showcases our commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design, providing a robust and attractive solution for the client’s needs.
Last spring, we had the privilege of revitalizing the historic Bell Telephone building on Stanwix Street in downtown Pittsburgh through a remarkable 13,000 square foot concrete restoration project. Our team transformed 5,000 square feet into a vibrant broom finish for the City Charter High School, enhancing the school’s exterior with a clean, durable surface. The remaining 8,000 square feet was converted into stunning exposed aggregate on the city sidewalks, helping to breathe new life into the community and elevate the surrounding urban environment.
